1 sheet puff pastry 1 can apple pie filling ½ tsp Watkins cinnamon ¼ tsp Watkins nutmeg cream cheese, divided into 12 Cooking Spray 1 small package (100 grams) chopped pecan Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray and coat the cavities of a muffin tin with cooking spray. Divide a sheet of puff pastry into 12 sections. Take a piece of dough and press it evenly into the muffin tin cavities. Add the canned apple pie filling to a bowl. Break up the large apple slices into bite size chunks, Then add cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. To each shell add 1 piece of cream cheese, 1 tablespoon apple pie filling and top with 1 tsp crushed pecan. If desired you can pre bake the pastry shells then fill and bake until done. Bake for 17 minutes or until done.

The holiday season calls for special breakfast treats, and what better way to indulge than with a delicious twist on a classic breakfast dish? Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with the rich and festive flavors of Egg Nog French Toast! This heavenly dish will take your holiday brunch to new heights and leave your family and friends begging for seconds. Egg Nog French Toast 3 eggs ½ cup egg nog 6 slices of day old bread 1 tsp Watkins Rum Extract ½ tsp Watkins cinnamon ¼ tsp Watkins nutmeg butter or margarine Crack the eggs into a bowl. Beat eggs and egg nog. Add extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix until thoroughly combined. Melt butter in skillet. Soak bread in egg mixture, one slice at a time. Cook in a hot skillet over medium heat. Brown on one side, turn and brown other side. Serve hot with whip cream, maple syrup, jam, jelly, sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar or whatever desired topping. Make it a casserole: Grease a 13-by-9-inch baking pan with butter. Tear the bread into chunks, or cut it into cubes, and evenly distribute it in the pan. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cube bread. Cover the pan tightly and store in the fridge until needed (overnight preferably). Or you can make it and bake it right away—it's delicious no matter what! Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 – 45 minutes or until golden brown. ![]()
